I just returned from a Sea Kayaking Guide training weekend. I signed up to be a guide at the Beyond Malibu camp this summer. If everything works out, I will be spending three months in the mountains and inlets of Canada- where there colors we can't even imagine here.
This weekend was tiring. There was a lot of instruction and lots of paddling. Our trips this summer are 100 miles around and seven/eight days long. I will spend the majority of time with my co-guides and a group of seven to eight kids/adults.
Bring it on world!

and thanks for commenting. yeah, i totally underestimated the power and effect words had on me, and i'm just getting over that, i guess. and pain and anguish caused by empty words, i feel you. totallyyyy. and right now i feel so cautious about everything. like i can't trust anything and i was just thinking how i can't be like this forever. i need to find the right balance between trusting people, but not giving myself to them. god will help me. :)
